From Your Board of Directors...
|
|
Dear Members & Friends of CCMCC,
We have exciting news to share with you all regarding our pastoral search! The
Team has unanimously chosen a pastoral candidate to present to the membership
for approval!
We will announce the name this Sunday, November 8th. This
candidate possesses all the qualities, and more, that were deemed important on
the surveys and during the workshops. We are thrilled to make this announcement
on Sunday and eager to hear your responses.
It is a new day and a new beginning
for CCMCC. This decision is a giant step forward for us as we continue to move
closer to becoming the Church that we all know that we can be.
Thank you all
for your prayers and support as we considered and interviewed candidates. It
was a difficult process, but well worth the wait!
Peace and blessings,
CCMCC Board of Directors and Pastoral Search Team

All Church Workday (Pride in your church day part II)
|
|
On Saturday, November 14, we will have "Pride In Your Church Day" Part II. Hopefully we will have as big a crowd that stayed for the inside to come and work on the outside. The grass will be cut, edging done, and branches bagged and taken to the street. This building, again, is our wonderful resource, and we all need to help maintain it! Grab your friends and let's all pull together and get this place looking wonderful as we head into the fall/winter season!
A hearty breakfast will be prepared by Barb Devlin and we will eat at 8:30am and then head out to take care of our grounds! There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Please indicate any tools you may have and will be bringing with you. If you have any questions or need further information, please see our Facilities team leader, Barb Devlin. Thanking you in advance for your service!

One Spirit, One Body
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all
baptized into one body- Jews or Greeks, slaves or free- and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. -1 Corinthians 12:12-13
We
will not have open registration the day of the retreat at Camp Mikell
